Very versatile, all of the styles shown in these fashion plates can be replicated using the pattern pieces. This hand-drafted epattern pack includes a cap body with 3 variations- low wider crown, high crown and highest crown. There are 4 brim options- no brim, short brim, tall brim and frill. Pattern pieces are simple but highly engineered- they create a base to drape fabric and trim onto.*Pattern pieces given are for brims and crown base form only, user must free drape pieces of fabric and trim onto the piece as desired- some instructions/photos given for covering*

**Skill level beginner to advanced, but previous millinery experience required.**

Pattern is drawn from scratch but based on a design from an original 1880s Spanish dressmaking guide, and was a popular style seen in many fashion plates of the era. Hat may be made with or without ribbon ties, a hat pin to secure is recommended. This is a great pattern to use scrap bits of luxe fabrics and ribbon on- you can mix and match bit of velvet/silk either in the same colors or accent pieces.

Purchase includes download of pattern pieces and instruction sheet with supply list. Epattern can be printed at home on a regular printer/letter-sized paper. Hat is made with buckram & millinery wire.

*Patterns are for personal use only. Your purchase supports an independent designer/vendor/artist. Sure, you could copy this and send it to your friends, but you'd be stealing from me. I spent hours and hours creating this by hand, with a pen and paper. It's only 15 dollars. Please don't steal from me.*
