This hand-drafted epattern is for a cap base- simple, but highly engineered. All of the styles shown in these fashion plates can be replicated using this pattern. *Pattern piece given is for cap form only, user must free drape pieces of fabric & trim onto the piece as desired*
**Skill level adventurous beginner to intermediate/advanced. Previous millinery experience required.**
Pattern is drawn completely from scratch using original 1880s dressmaking manual and period fashion plates as a guide. A hat pin is required to fasten onto the head. This is a great pattern to use scrap bits of luxe fabrics and ribbon on- you can mix and match bit of velvet/silk either in the same colors or accent pieces, looks terrific with an added veil.
Purchase includes download of pattern piece and instruction sheet with supply list. Epattern can be printed at home on a regular printer/letter-sized paper. Hat is made with buckram & millinery wire.
*Patterns are for personal use only. Your purchase supports an independent designer/vendor/artist. Sure, you could copy this and send it to your friends, but you'd be stealing from me. I spent hours and hours creating this by hand, with a pen and paper. It's only 13 dollars. Please don't steal from me.*
